A Weekend of BJJ Tournaments

Team GBSG had a blast at the Springroll BJJ Open in Jakarta, Indonesia over the weekend. Besides competing, the GBSG family got a chance to meet and mingle with our Indonesian counterparts.

Bagging 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal from Edd, Alison and Wanjia respectively, GB Singapore won 4th place for the overall academy category. Together with sister schools Gracie Barra South Jakarta and Titan BJJ Semarang, Gracie Barra won 2nd place for the overall team category.

Back in Singapore, our very own Nick Goh participated in the ADCC no-gi tournament as well and did the GBSG family proud by bringing home the gold too.

What we’re most proud about though, is that the team showed so much improvement, and that their hard work and dedication to their BJJ training really paid off! Thank you to our professors and training partners for all their support on and off the mats!
