Over the weekend of 30th and 31st March, team Gracie Barra Singapore competed at the Singapore BJJ Open in both the gi and no gi divisions. Overall, we brought home a total of 20 medals made up of 7 Gold, 4 silver and 9 bronze over the 2 day tournament. An amazing job by the team with many awesome submission finishes!
It was the first tournament for many of our teammates, and for some it was the first tournament at a new belt level, but we are so proud that everyone stepped up to the challenge!
Stay tuned for updates about the next tournament we’ll be competing at. In the meantime, do come down to support the GBSG kids who will be competing the Singapore Youth Grappling Championship on Saturday between 9am – 3pm at the Wrestling Federation of Singapore, 3 Bedok North Street 2.
